During my internship at the Rutland Herald, I wrote about politics, both the state legislature and the priorities of Vermont’s. I also covered criminal justice reform, business, education, local events and social justice movements in Vermont. I wrote 48 stories in 11 weeks and I had the chance to write both on a daily deadline and to explore issues more deeply in the form of longer features.
